Once upon a time, in a land scarcely inhabited by man, stood a woman. Her hair, as black as obsidian glass. Her skin, as smooth as the water that flows through the Maldives.

Every morning, this woman would go into the forest and observe a man she long admired from afar. She would study his movements, mimic his breaths and dream of a moment where they could be unison in step.

One day, the woman arrived at her usual spot to find the object of her desire no longer there, a trail of dried blood indicating that he did not willingly disappear.

The woman follows the red-stained path and finds a place called “Redemption”, she blends in with the crowd, trying to make sense of all the commotion.

There he was, her distant lover trapped in an elevated cage. There she was, wishing there was a place where the two of them could engage.

The woman’s thoughts take the form of a four-page letter and she blows it with a kiss, each line reaching its intended audience, no word skipped or missed.

It is daybreak and a fight has just begun, the woman’s crush almost down for the count, another man about to be crowned gladiatorial champion.

But true love intervenes and the woman transforms into a silver siren that saves the day, turning grains of sand into a ring of fire that keeps her enemies at bay.

The woman holds the hand of her man and removes his mask, her long-awaited dream finally coming true at last. The crowd, pacified, watches on, as two dancers stomp their heels to the tune of an imagined kick-drum.
