Life Told Through Rap - Trapsoul
A tender tale about how far love can go
Author’s note: This is a work of fiction. The only thing real about this story is the music.
This is a story about two trapped souls.
The first soul is a poet, his sonnets of love and loss spread across this mortal plane.
The other is a muse, whisked away by Hades, her essence now one of countless spirits circling within a doomed domain.
The poet goes to the Underworld and prays for the return of his partner. Each note, each lyric, an expression of his sorrow at her sudden departure.
Every being in the world feels the sadness of his song, joining in the chorus of bringing his beloved back to where she belongs.
“Lord, please save her for me, do this one favor for me”: these are the poet’s passionate pleas, as he sings to divine ears, begging on bended knee.
A bargain is struck, the deal is done. The story ends with two lovers, hoping to, once again, be graced by the warmth of a distant sun.
